Saltaire SCAA Annual Meeting:
Saltaire Fire Island Citizens's Association annual meeting. Membership in the Saltaire Citizens' Advisory Association (www.Saltaire-SCAA.com) is open to all residents of Saltaire, Fire Island year round and seasonal, owners and renters. Dues are $35 per year. The SCAA sponsors community events in Saltaire, Fire Island throughout the year. Events include planting dune grass in Saltaire, an Arts and Music festival held in the Village of Saltaire, a House and Garden tour, the Saltaire Jogathon, the Saltaire Sand Castle contest and the Saltaire Hallowen Party. In years where there is a contested election for positions on the Village of Saltaire Board of Trustees, the SCAA holds a "Candidates Forum" on the weekend before the election in the Saltaire Village Hall. The annual meeting of the SCAA is held in the Spring of each year at the Saltaire, Fire Island Fire House in the Village of Saltaire.
